In 2010 I had an opportunity to take a travel of a lifetime when joining a crew of 5 in order to sail accross the South Pacific Ocean. This travel took us 8 months to complete within 10 different Island Nations. During the travel we encountered plenty of sealife, visited villages from "isolated" cultures and learned about the lifestyle of Polynesian and Mauri people.
The Purpose of the travel was to learn about the world and the cultures but I believe we learned the same or even more about our selves in the long days at sea. During the tough times whether it was facing one of the many storms or finding ways to compromise over personal matters we pulled together as a team and made it through the difficult waters both outside and inside the boat.
This lecture/presentation is an insight to the cultures of Southern Pacific and the lifestyle of traveling brought to you with plenty of pictures, videos and personal stories.. Through the presentation I offer insight to my personal journey from the ideas and thoughts that defined me during these 8 months.
